Field notes
A Unity Casinos rank is the result of a sitting with one brand: who owns it, what the welcome really costs, how money leaves, and whether you can stop. It is dated. It is not a medal, a forecast, or a promise that you will come out ahead.
Last sitting November 2026
Treat it as
Someone on the desk opened the live site, saved the terms PDF, tried a deposit rail that New Zealand players actually use, and wrote down what loaded on a phone. The stars describe that sitting — 2026 included — not a lifetime warranty.
Do not treat it as
A high card means the paperwork and the cashier behaved on the day we looked. It does not mean the house is generous, that a bet is “due,” or that last month’s payout speed still holds. If the operator’s own cashier disagrees with our card, the cashier wins.
Five sittings
Not a press kit. Not a partner slide. The pages a player would actually hit.
We look for a named operating company, a licence number we can type into a public register, and a complaint path that is not a dead mailbox. A crest in the footer with no company behind it is a fail, not a styling choice.
The banner number is ignored until we have wagering, game weighting, max cashout, country exclusions, and the clock on the offer. If the PDF and the landing page disagree, we keep the worse number — or we drop the offer from the card.
We care about methods New Zealand players can open, the currency that actually posts, and the withdrawal window the operator states — not a logo strip. Instant deposit with a five-day cashout is scored as a slow cashier, because that is what you will feel.
Search, live tables, and limit tools have to work in a pocket browser. A desktop-only responsible-gambling page, or a lobby that takes thirty seconds to paint, costs product points even if the slot list is huge.
Deposit caps, time-outs, and self-exclusion have to be reachable without a scavenger hunt. If you need a live agent to pause play, the safer-play score is capped. Entertainment that cannot be switched off is not entertainment we will push.
A review week
One brand, five working days. If Monday fails, Friday never happens.
Ownership, licence register, and whether the brand still takes New Zealand traffic.
Welcome, reloads, and free-bet / free-spin rules copied from the live T&Cs, not a screenshot from last year.
Deposit rails, KYC prompts, and the stated time to a first withdrawal.
Lobby, search, live or in-play, and whether limits sit in the account menu.
Publish, hold, or cut. A commercial request cannot move a brand past a failed register check.
Off the list
A paid module cannot keep a brand up after any of these.
After Play now
The button leaves Unity Casinos. The operator’s cashier is then the only desk that can move money.
Our card is a map. The sign-up page, the bonus PDF, and the cashier are the ground. If they moved since our date stamp, they win.
Most outbound buttons carry an affiliate tag. That can pay Unity Casinos if you register. It does not change the price in the cashier, and it cannot buy the number next to the name.
New brands get a second pass after launch noise dies down. Listed brands get a fresh look when terms, licences, or payout complaints shift — not on a marketing calendar.
Corrections
Send the page URL, a screenshot, and a primary source (register extract, terms PDF, cashier receipt). We correct the file. We do not negotiate stars by email, and we cannot reset a player account, complete KYC, or chase a withdrawal — that is the operator’s cashier.
Contact the deskStart with the New Zealand directory, or write the desk if a cashier no longer matches the card.
